The Three Forks Trail is easily accessible from the Deer Park Trailhead in Olympic National Park. The Deer Park Trailhead is located 16 miles south of Highway 101 near Port Angeles, WA. Hikers will enjoy descending through a young Douglas fir forest with ample opportunity for seeing wildlife. The trail is 8.4 and 9 miles roundtrip respectively to Three Forks Camp and Gray Wolf Camp - and drops 3200' in 4.2 miles into the lower river valley.

A significant burn and subsequent blow down area opens up views just .5 miles from the trailhead
