Ungulates

Hoofed herbivores including but not limited to: mule deer, elk, bison, elk, moose, and bighorn sheep. Ungulates are grazing animals with many capable of exceeding speeds of 30 mph and jumping great distances. They are generally prey for feline and canine predators such as cougars and wolves and a good overall indicator of the health of an area.
